I’m Laura Royer.

An expert trainer, financial coach, and business consultant with a passion for helping you discover your unique, God-given purpose to serve others while making a happy living doing what you love and achieving financial freedom.

At the age of 18, after graduating high school, I found myself lost, afraid and certainly unaware of what career path I would take. It wasn’t until after being in college for 2 years, with my own personal debt accumulating to $12,000, that I found my purpose – helping others achieve financial freedom.

Oh, but I wasn’t ready to help anyone at that time because first I had to step into my own truth and get out of debt. As you may know – it wasn’t easy, but I was determined to find my way.

Combining personal experience with my professional training, I have been able to help over 85,000 clients not only live successfully on a financial plan and pay off debt but also achieve goals like saving money and buying their dream home.

During my tenure at the University of Florida, I found ways to overcome many obstacles to build a nationally, award-winning housing and financial coaching/educational program.

Combining my personal experience of paying off $12,000 of debt with my professional training, I am committed to helping others like you operate in your God-given gifts, while generating a stable or profitable income.

I can assure you many times it was hard, defeating and sometimes I wanted to quit. Some of my colleagues would say, “Laura, why not just do the status quo programs that already exist.” But I knew the needs of my community – they needed me to show up for them and just because a program didn’t exist yet, didn’t mean that it couldn’t.

I quickly learned that the words “no, it’s not possible” would never be in my vocabulary and that I would not settle for anything less than what I believed could happen.

So I found ways to push past the naysayers to create programs that met my client’s needs, helping them achieve their desired results. When I reached my full capacity to serve solo, with no prior experience, I started writing grants to expand my program. Pushing past my fears, I was able to generate over $1 million to hire a team of counselors. This expansion allowed us to serve even more critical needs of our clients.

I can promise you, that I often didn’t know what I was doing, but my heart to help people would not allow me to quit. This is the true epitome of what has become my personal and professional mantra – find a way to win.

In 2015, I quit the only job I had known for 18 years to start The Royer Consultancy. I wanted to level up in my own ability to serve and help people just like you overcome all the obstacles that threaten to get your gift out there to those who need it.

Laura Royer is the President of The Royer Consultancy and the founder of Catch Your Money, a business brand that serves solopreneurs, helping them build a profitable business while maximizing their personal income.

She is a five-time, national award-winning financial coach and educator, with over 25 years of experience working in the areas of financial capability, housing, leadership and strategic business planning.

A successful grant writer, Ms. Royer generated over $1,000,000 in grant funding to support programming while at the University of Florida.

Ms. Royer is a nationally invited trainer, presenting on webinars and at professional conferences.

Currently, Ms. Royer provides consulting and training for nonprofits, focusing on financial capability and housing program development, social media marketing, proficiency in business operations and generating revenue.

Ms. Royer is a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Facilitator. She has a master’s degree in Family Financial Planning and a bachelor’s degree in Family, Youth and Community Sciences.
